a digital playmaking collective

is a collective of theatre and cultural historians, archaeologists, and digital designers reimagining Shakespearean play and performance spaces.
We’re at a landmark moment in English theatre history, following the recent discovery of a wave of 16th- and 17th-century playing places. We want to develop new models for showcasing, researching, and playing in those spaces today.
We’re currently working on our first ambitious project: Digital Playmaking: Spaces and Cultures of Early Modern Performance.
